CATHY CIRC

Cathy Circ (she/they) is a digital artist from New Jersey. For 3 years now, Cathy has been posting her comedic animations and art content on TikTok where she has amassed around 225k followers. Her largest passion however, is visual storytelling. Cathy Circ is a digital artist, yes, but at her heart she is a storyteller and hopes that with her art she can tell incredible stories throughout her career, which at age 22 is just beginning. She believes the most important stories to tell are the ones that represent those who often lack representation (something Cathy understands, identifying as asexual). For these reasons, she is immensely honored to be working with the Cosmic Cherry Arts Festival, an event where we can tell the stories of femininity, queerness and gender expression.

Cathy’s most ambitious, proudest, most recent endeavor has been her original webcomic “Questful”  which you can start reading now on Webtoon Canvas! You can also follow Cathy on Instagram and TikTok @cathycirc to stay updated on her work!

CAROLINE HABIB

Caroline Habib (she/her) is a photographer based in New Jersey. She was born in Alexandria, Egypt and moved to the states when she was seven. Photography and art have been a part of her life from the very beginning, starting with a point and shoot film camera that was handed off to her to take photos of her parents. To her, photography does not just have to be creative, but also as a means of becoming keepers of our moments and memories. Recently, she has began to experiment with mixed-media photography--using her own photographs as a base to build upon; using paint, fabrics and trimmings, collaging, and found objects in her life in order to complete her final products.

KRISTIE KISH

Kristie Kish (she/her) is an Emmy-nominated multimedia artist born and raised in New York. Before working digitally, she spent her time in the printmaking studio. Her printed work was shown in group exhibitions and published in literary arts journals. As a freelance motion designer, she designs and animates work ranging from corporate commercials to silly and bizarre cartoons. She prefers the latter. Her work was broadcasted on Nat Geo Wild, SYFY, and Nickelodeon. In her free time, Kristie is hangin' with her giant bunny rabbit and plants.

ZIPPORAH NORTON

“Right now, my paintings are about my family. My practice has shifted, particularly in the last year, from abstract shapes and repetitive brushstrokes, toward reintroducing the figure into the paintings. I use faces, hands and layered bodies atop one another to dissolve physical boundaries and a feeling of suffocation that an over abundance of love can often create.”

Zipporah (she/her), a Virginia native, has been painting and living in Brooklyn for over a year and is currently a MFA candidate at the New York Studio School of painting, drawing and sculpture.
